Avengers:The Game:Should it be Released or Cancelled ?

Will there be another Marvel Comic based Game Launched this year based on the tremendous success of the movie?Well they've launched many of their super-hero games which have done well in the past years such as Spiderman,Fantastic Four, X-men,Hulk ,Iron Man,many of which are included in the new Avengers movie which was launched this year in May 2012 .

 

 

  Well I'm sure many of you guys must have remembered your good old days of gaming when you saw the screenshot above.For those who don't know which game it is,It is Captain America and the Avengers which was launched in TV video games and game boy's  way down in the year 1991.The game was pretty good for the standard of those days.Now coming back to the year 2012 sources say that they have cancelled The Avengers for PC,PS3 and Xbox 360.

  The Avengers is a cancelled video game based on the upcoming superhero film (with Iron Man, Hulk and Thor) which was planned to be released along with it. The project was under development by THQ Studio Australia (Studio Oz) when THQ decided to close it. At the time of the closure they had already poured 18 months of hard work into crafting what was anticipated to be a high quality Marvel movie game instead of just another licensed title. When the developers at the studio got wind that Studio Oz was in trouble, they made these videos for Marvel in hope that the comic book giant would come on board and prevent any closures. Despite the superhero first-person brawler impressing Marvel, the project was ultimately canned by THQ.

  The game was being developed for Xbox 360 and PS3, with THQ’s Melbourne studio, Blue Tongue, said to have been working on the PC version. Approximately 200 people in total were working on the game, including Blue Tongue and outsourcing.Well here are some screenshots of the game which was supposed to be launched this year.Looks pretty cool in the screenshots

Well the screenshots look pretty interesting.And also what a revolution from 1991 to 2012!!!!Just hoping that THQ continue with the game and launch it sooner this year.Sure it will go a big hit.Your opinions on the game ???
